The death occurred peacefully at his residence in New Zealand on Sunday, August 16, 2009, of John MacInnis, age 84 years.
Beloved husband of Flora (nee MacPhee). Loving father of Anne, Vernon (Hope), Johnnie (Anne Marie), David (Gail), Brenda (Ricky) and Joanne (Darrell). Fondly remembered by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Survived by brothers, Peter, Harry, Joe; and sister, Dot. Predeceased by brother, Harold; sister, Mary Margaret; and daughter-in-law, Claire.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Tuesday 6-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Wednesday morning, August 19, 2009, to St. Alexis Roman Catholic Church in Rollo Bay for funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
