Passed away suddenly on December 27, 2017. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Clara Stead; brothers Gerry and David; sister Freda; brothers-in-law Joe Murphy, Cec Pierson and Don Howlett; nephews David, Leo and Chris. Leaving to mourn his wife Dianne (nee Dillon), three daughters Angie Philpott (David), Andrea Stead and Maria Stead (Blair Fleming); seven grandchildren Kyle, Holly, Robyn, Ethan, Grace, Jacob and Sophia; brothers Herb (Paula), Leo (Rosalie), Alf (Janet) and Joe; sisters Sheila Pierson, Elaine Howlett, Jean Aylward (Bob) and Tina Miller (Fred); sisters-in-law Jeanne Stead and Margie Stead as well as Dianne’s brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday, January 2 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from Corpus Christi Church on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery Kilbride. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Paul’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
