of Hatchet Cove, aged 77 years passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on May 7, 2011. Predeceased by parents Malcolm and Sarah-Jane, brother Nelson and brother-in-law John. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Loretta (nee Peddle), sons Randy (Sylvia), Bruce (Marilyn), Rocky, daughters Carol (Gerry) and Diane, sisters Susie, Geneva (David), brother Alex (Selina), sister-in-law Velma and Aunt Mary Martin, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, and will be officiated by Rev. Jessie Broaders. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy’s Funeral Home, Random Island.
