MUISE, George John - 76, Tusket, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully at his home in Tusket on Friday, April 29, 2011. Born October 31, 1934 in Quinan, he was the son of the late Felix and Hélène Muise. George worked at the Grand Hotel in Yarmouth for 20 years, retiring in 1994 and previously worked aboard the MV Prince of Fundy. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. George was a talented craftsman and woodworker. He was also very musical and loved to share it with his friends. He will be remembered by those who knew him as for his kindness and his witty sense of humour. Surviving are his wife, Cecilia (Beyea) Muise; step-son, John Goguen; step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, John-Ryan, Jason, Justin, Trenton and Kaiden, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Marie (Dulong) Muise; brothers, Donald, Peter, Jarvis; sisters, Agnes, Mamie, Adele, Sadie, Delsie, Rosie, Marie and Margaret, and step-daughter, Michelle Goguen. In accordance with George’s wishes, cremation took place and there was no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the Tri-County Branch of the V.O.N.
