Fulton, Catherine Louise (Taylor) – 55, passed away suddenly on April 29, 2011 in Foothills Medical Center, Calgary, Alberta. Cathy was a daughter of Edith and the late Bert Taylor. Besides her mother, she is survived by son, Josh (Catherine), Halifax; daughters, Darci (Jeff), Lower Sackville, Pamela (Geoff), Wainwright, Alberta; sister, Lorna (Paul) Weatherby, Truro; brother, Darrell (Tina), Bible Hill; companion, Dennis LaViolette, Calgary and his children, Matt, Joseph and Nicole; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father and a nephew, Adam. Cathy was born and grew up in Truro, lived several years in Lower Sackville before moving to Calgary, four years ago, where she worked as an accountant for Cinl Roofing Ltd and also provided book keeping services for many clients. She loved bowling, playing darts, tennis and camping. She also enjoyed dancing and believed in living life to the fullest. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm followed by a memorial service at 2 pm on Friday, May 6th all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Ian Harrison officiating. Interment in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
