Grace Yvonne N. Fitzpatrick (nee Guppy) - (August 16, 1932-May 5, 2011), Barrie, Ontario, formerly New Glasgow, NS, passed away peacefully at home.
Now together with her beloved husband, James Gerard.
Born in Orangeville, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruby (nee Smith) Guppy, and was a member of Collier Street United Church, Barrie.
She is survived by a daughter, Tracey Anne (Robert), Ottawa, Ontario; a son, James Gerard G. (Mrs. Cristal Fitzpatrick), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; three loving grandchildren: Courtney, Emily and Dynan Anderson; one brother, Robert Guppy, Belleville, Ontario and long-time childhood friend, Patricia Davey.
She was also predeceased by a brother, Donald Guppy.
Her remains are at Meadowvale Gardens Cemetery, Brampton, Ontario. As per her wishes, a chapel service followed by an internment will be held at the Meadowvale Cemetery Thursday, May 12, 2011, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Posno officiating.
