Passed peacefully away in the loving arms of his wife at the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital (Coronary Care Unit) on Monday, August 17, 2009, a long time employee of the Waterford Hospital (30 years), Neil Burry, aged 51 years. Predeceased by his father Gordon and baby sister Barbara. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 25 years Marion (nee Duke); son Roy; daughter Susan (Keith Bartlett); beloved mother Idela Burry; brother Walter (Angela Drake); aunt Barbara Burry; sisters-in-law: Ann Maloney (Frank), Pat Payne (Ross) and Judy Evans (Gary); brothers-in-law: David Duke (Rose), Bill Duke (Betty), Kevin Duke (Jody) and Bob Duke; as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Neil’s life will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday, August 18th from 1-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 19th from 10-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Barrett’s Chapel on Thursday, August 20th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
