Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, August 15, 2009, Evelyn Coates of Winterton, age 77 years. Leaving to mourn husband Hayward, two daughters: Betty (Gary) Pike, Carbonear, Kelly (Barry) Green, Winterton, two sons: Roger (Gertie) Coates and Paul (Darlene) Coates, Winterton. Grandchildren: Danny (Renee) Coates, Deanne Coates (Paddy), Crystal Pike, Sarah, Suzanne and Riley Coates, Alyssa, Darien and Tyson Green. Brother Tom (Hilda) Rowe, sisters-in-law: Grace and Lydia Coates. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Greens Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place at 2 p.m. from St. Lukes Anglican Church and Cemetery, Winterton.
