Betty Kennedy
We, the family of the late Betty Kennedy wish to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation for all the condolences shown during our recent loss with telephone calls, flowers, food, cards and donations. Thank you to Palliative Care, VON, County Home Makers who provided quality care to Mom at home. We also thank the staff of Alderwood Guest Home for making Mom feel at home while she was a resident there. Many thanks to the staff at Celtic Court for the impeccable care given to Mom and your thoughtfulness to our family during Mom"s illness. Your warmth and kindness has been overwhelming, Mom truly felt this was her home away from home. A special thank you to Elaine Sawlor for a beautiful eulogy, also Father Everett MacDow for his attendance and Father Patrick O'Neill for celebration of Mass, to the organist, choir, and altar servers to Wayne Mullins and Elaine Sawlor for the readings, to Bev Mullins who was eucharistic minister. Thank you to Father Doug MacIntyre for all his visits and blessings for Mom. Thank you to the pallbearers, who were Betty's grandsons, also the two honorary pallbearers: Brenda Goyetche and Lorraine Richards close friends of Betty. Many thanks to Brenda Goyetche, Deborah Chisholm, Judy and Bernadette Wadden for providing a beautiful meal following the funeral service. To Sheldon, Wendy and all the staff at Chant's Funeral Home, thank you for your professionalism and a beautiful rendition of "I Come To The Garden" by Sheldon Chant.
