LeBLANC, LAURA - Grand-Barachois: Laura LeBlanc, 90, wife of the late Emery LeBlanc, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital following a brief illness. Born December 30, 1920 in Dupuis Corner, she was the daughter of the late Albénie and Lucille (Lirette) Lirette. She is survived by her eight children: Murielle Bourque (Noël) and Marc (Pauline) both of Haute-Aboujagane, Simone LeBlanc (Pierre Dubuc) of Ste-Foy, QC, Jeanne LeBlanc (Charles Forest), Robert, and Roland all of Grand-Barachois, Louise LeBlanc of Edmonton, AB, and Rina Cassidy (Ben) of Shediac; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one brother: Albénie of Grand-Barachois. Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by two grandsons: Patrick Cassidy and Jérémie LeBlanc and by two brothers: Hyacinthe and Léandre.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) onThursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:35 a.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri R.C.
