It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Seaward James Anderson announce his peaceful passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in his 72nd year. He leaves to mourn: his loving wife Betty of 52 years; son Scott (Sarah Sampson); mother Melida Spencer; Sisters Ruth (Gary Pike), Judy (Brian Warren); brothers Wayne (Sandra) Spencer, Mark (Margie) Spencer; uncle Henry; sisters-in-law Ruth (Lorne Pelley) and Donna; brothers-in-law Jim (Jeanette) Hull, Ron (Ann) Hull; a large circle of wonderful nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved, and also many friends who he valued greatly. He was predeceased by his brother Richard. A private family visitation will take place from Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 3pm, and the service will take place at 4pm, January 18, 2018 from Country Haven Chapel with Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, there will be no flowers by request.
