Margaret Ethel Jean (nee Carew) Frizzell
Peacefully at Whisperwood Villa, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, January 18, 2018 of Margaret Ethel Jean Frizzell (nee Carew), formerly of Stanchel and Breadalbane, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Frizzell. Loving mother of the late Myrna Jean (Allan) Barwise and Joyce (Ron) Doyle. Grandmother of Jason (Laurie) Barwise, Alana (Jason) Sanderson, Kevin (Sara) Doyle, and Cheryl Doyle. Great-grandmother of Jacob and Caleb Barwise, Will and Lauren Sanderson, and Declan and Desmond Doyle. Sister of Melvin (Carol) Carew, sister-in-law of Lois Carew and Sadie Frizzell. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Mabel (Murray) Carew, siblings Frances (Merton) Gamble, Louise (Sam) Silliphant, Lloyd (Margaret) Carew, Anna (Wendell) Rodd, Harriet (Allison) Frizzell and John Carew, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law Amy (Chalmers) MacLeod, Verna (George) Dixon, Ivan (Bertha) Frizzell, Priscilla (Preston) Woodside, Doris (Art) Bull, Reta (Ewan) Todd, Roy Frizzell and Leslie (Hazel) Frizzell. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Tuesday from Sherwood Church of Christ at 1:30 p.m. Interment later in Breadalbane Cemetery.
