Predeceased by his parents William and Columba Chaplin, sister Joan Mary Dunn, parents-in-law W.J. and Josephine Fahey. Leaving to mourn his wife of 47 years Pat; children: Paul (Hennie), Trish (Kevin), Colette (Josh) and Suzanne (Marc); grandchildren: Tyler, Kyle, Ella and Cole; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to the Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association.
