Peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 of Helen J. Reid (nee Doyle) of Charlottetown and Mt. Stewart age 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Reid and dear mother of Leonard (Eileen) Doyle of Toronto, Ontario.Grandmother of Darlene, David, Darwin and Randy. Sister of Earl (Joan) Doyle of St. John N.B. and Ann Noonan. Sister-in-law of Pauline, Denise and Irene Doyle. Helen is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Veronica, Ethel, Mary and brothers Ernest, John, Bernard, Ronald, Charles, Gerald and Leonard. Helen’s family would like to thank the staff of Beach Grove Home for the loving care they provided her and a special thank you to Ellen and Doug Campbell for everything they did for Helen. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday, then transferred to St. Andrews Church, Mt. Stewart for funeral mass at 1 p.m. Interment in St. Andrews Parish Cemetery. By request there will be no visiting hours.
