On May 10, at the IWK Hospital where he spent so much of his life, God took the last breath of our miracle child, Dylan Cody Boyle Josey at age 17.
He left to mourn his adoring Daddy Ralph Josey Jr. (Lynn), and his heartbroken Mama Andrea Karen Boyle (Alex), brother Brody Josey (Tabatha), his twin sisters Megan and Melanie Boyle, his little sister Haley Josey, and brother Nicholas Brule. His grieving grandparents are Fred and Sharon Boyle and Phyllis and Ralph Josey Sr. with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends new and old too many to mention. He was love eternal to everyone who met him.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at The Salvation Army Halifax Citadel Community Church, 1327 Barrington Street, Halifax, at 2 p.m. on this Friday, May 13, 2011.
P.E.I. arrangements will be made once Dylan and Dad arrive home.
Dylan passed away peacefully at the same place he arrived into the world, the IWK Hospital. The IWK Hospital was a second home for all of us for long periods of time. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the ICU, Dr. Michael Smith and the nurses of "7 South" for the care they provided to Dylan and our family over the years. A special thanks to the immediate family who, as always, showed so much support during Dylan's last days.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in Dylan's name on behalf of the Ronald McDonald House in Halifax.
