Wife of the late Richmond Franklin Leavitt and daughter of the late Percy and Florence (Libby) Merchant. Survived by four daughters, Rose (Melvin) Greenlaw, Bayside, NB, Frances Sinclair, Bocabec, Waunita (Kenny) McGarrigle, Blacks Harbour, Patricia (Bernard) Blanchard, Bocabec, NB; five sons, Keith (Amber) Leavitt, Old Ridge, NB, Frankie Leavitt, St. Stephen, NB, Aaron Leavitt, Chamcook, NB, Arnold (Chandra) Leavitt, Chamcook, NB, Perry (Carolyn) Leavitt, St. Stephen, NB; several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by two sons Roger and Wayne Leavitt; three sisters, Vivian, Gladys, and Pearl; seven brothers.
Funeral service will be held at the Cornerstone Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, St. George, NB on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. At the request of the family there will be no visitation. Interment at Bocabec Cemetery. Remembrances to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
