MITCHELL, H. BEVERLY - It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Beverly Mitchell, devoted wife for 60 years to Paul Mitchell of Saint John who passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Beverly was born in Montreal, PQ, December of 1931 to the late George and Helen (Haynes) Davidson. She worked for over 20 years as a Car Rental Agent at the Saint John Airport; she enjoyed gardening and nature and loved spending time with family and friends. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Besides her husband Paul, Beverly will be forever loved and missed by son Robert Paul Mitchell (Kathie) of Willow Grove, daughter Sandra Beverly Mitchell of Saint John; grandchildren Sarah (Justin Cormier), Matthew (Heidi Burchill) and Mandy (Sean King); great-grandchildren Evan and Hannah; sisters Patricia Johnson and Jessie Irving (James) both of Florida; brother-in-law Hughie Mitchell (Colleen) of Letete, NB; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date. Private interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Beverly’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
