At the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, of John Young of Stratford, age 53 years.
Beloved husband of Marina Young (nee Wheeler) and loving father of Justyn Young. John is also survived by brother, Ralph Young (Rita); father-in-law, Hollis Wheeler; brothers-in-law, Daniel Kirk, Robert Wheeler (Anita); Sidney Wheeler (Benita), David Wheeler (Jeanette); sisters-in-law, Shirley Wells-Covello, Vera Payne (Darrell), Geraldine Garnier (David), Bonnie Wheeler (Derek) and Beverly Wheeler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Edith Young; sister, Beverly Kirk; mother-in-law, June Wheeler (nee Hann); and brother-in-law, Cyril Wheeler.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Saturday, May 14, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 15, at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Wood Islands Presbyterian Cemetery, Wood Islands.
