Passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, Annie Louise Goobie (nee Green) of Queen’s Cove, aged 90 years. Predeceased by husband Joshua; her parents Ethel and Hubert Green; sisters Emily Cramm and Melvie Brown; brothers Elwood, Eric, Wallace, Harrison, Joseph, Hubert Jr. and Roy Green. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Jocelyn (Fred), Janette (Robert), Allister (Sheila) and Alton (Ruth); grandchildren Lesley (Brendan), Heather (Darryl), Zachary (Patti), Ashley, Shauna-Lee (Lorne), Ainsley (Coleman), Stefan, Andrea, Lyndon, Lucas and Joshua; great-grandchildren Grayce Janes, Harrison, MacKinnon and Hendryksen Bland, Ella, Zaiah and Rylan Young, Sophia and Hudson Young, Jacob and Hewitt Black and Saul Ryan; sister Marina Green; brothers Edward and Winston Green; many special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Zion Pentecostal Church, North West Brook on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from Zion Pentecostal Church, North West Brook with interment to follow at United Cemetery, Queen’s Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Gideons or Teen Challenge NL.
