RODGERSON, GERALD LEWIS - It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Gerry Rodgerson of West Saint John, devoted husband of Doris (Alcorn) Rodgerson, which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice House on Monday, May 9th, 2011 with his family at his side. Born in Saint John April of 1933 he was the son of Willard and Annie (Porter) Rodgerson. Gerry worked for the DOT as a Heavy Equipment Operator retiring in 1998. Besides his wife Doris, Gerald is survived by son Ross (Laura) and their family and daughter Ellen Marks (Gary) and their family; brother Willard Pete Jr. (Marilyn) all of Saint John; sister Evadna Rodgerson of San Diego, CA; nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Private family services have been held with the Rev Grant Alcorn as the officiant, memories were shared by granddaughters Sara Jane Cole and Jocelyn Richard and grandson Greg Marks was the urn bearer.
