DUNN, Sylvia Louise (nee Hennebury)- Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer on May 13th, 2011, at the age of 71. Predeceased by her loving parents, Alec and Isabel Hennebury and brother Jim (Agnes). Leaving to mourn her devoted husband David, her daughters Karen (James Urbanski) and Diana (Deren Svendsen) and precious grandsons Erik and David, niece Isabel, nephew Jamie, special friends Anita and Margaret, as well as the Saturday Night “Card Club Crowd”. Sylvia also had a special bond with all her husband’s family, including her mother-in-law, the late Ann Dunn, and brothers-in-law Denis (Sharon), the late Wayne (Betty), Ron (Linda) and Kevin (Fern), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the physicians, nurses and all the medical staff involved in her care, both at home and during her stay at the Health Sciences Centre and the Palliative Care Unit. Visitation will take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, Saturday, May 14th, and Sunday, May 15th from 2 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Sylvia’s Life will be held on Monday, April 16th, at 11 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, the Palliative Care Unit or the Kidney Foundation.
