YOUNG, RUTH JANET - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ruth Young announces her unexpected death at her residence on May 14, 2011. She was born on March 27, 1959 at Rollingdam to Margaret (Raymond) Johnson and the late Edward Johnson. Ruth worked for many years at the Howard Johnson/Holiday Inn Express as a night maid. She is survived by her life partner, Dale Dunphy; daughter, Cynthia Goguen (Danny Dean); step-son, Dale Dunphy.; step-daughter, Sabrina Dunphy; five grandchildren: Tanika, Francois, Samantha, Kody and Austin; close friends, Roberta and Brian Norwood, and several brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 10 am. Interment will take place in Rollingham United Church Cemetery.
