GRIECO, Marie “Betty” (née Theoret) - At Glen Stor Dun Lodge on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Orlando Grieco. Cherished sister of Harriette, the late Georgette, the late Jeannine (late Maurice), the late Aline (late Domina), the late Leo, the late Louis-Bernard (late Joyce), Gerald (Violet), the late Jacques (late Murrelle), Rodrigues (Suzanne). Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Alma (née Groulx) Theoret. Betty was a highly admired, respected and committed professional. As Head of Guidance at St Lawrence High School - Cornwall, ON, over a period of three decades, she was a leader, a mentor to many students and above all, a remarkable guidance counsellor. She was attentive to the needs of the students at all times, always showing a genuine and caring attitude towards all. Through her wise counsel and exceptionally helpful and devoted personality, she made a positive and enduring impact on the lives of many hundreds of students. A Celebration of Marie’s Life will be held at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES , West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West, (613-932-8482) on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 9 a.m. until time of Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
