Peacefully at Kings County Memorial Hospital, Montague, P.E.I., on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, of Mrs. M. Clara Saulnier (nee Thomas) of Murray Harbour in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late John Saulnier and dear mother of Alma MacLeod, Cathy Saulnier, Charlie (Barbara) Saulnier, Rena (Brian) MacKinnon, Allan (Esther) Saulnier and Joanne (Joey Myers) Saulnier. Clara is also survived by 12 loving grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Pat (Carolyn) Thomas of Scotchfort and many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10 a.m. Friday then transferred to St. Bonaventure Church, Tracadie Cross for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the P.E.I. Lung Association.
