May 11, 1965 - August 7, 2009. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a Husband Father and Son at his home in Bedford, NS August 7, 2009. Leaving with a lifetime of fond memories his loving wife Mildred (Hayes); his three cherished daughters: Gillian, Murrissa and Katelynn; his beloved parents John and Helen (Finch) O’Neill; Brothers: Tony (Cathy); Jim (Angela); Keith; and Craig; Sisters: Judy (Damian); Janet (Paul); Mother-in-law Ellen Hayes; brothers-in-law: James (Bernice), Gerald (Joan), Leo (Patsy), and Bill. Sisters-in-law: Margaret Kennedy (Raymond), Mary Kennedy (Thomas) and Christine Hayes; a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends, and his close friend Leo Nolan. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at his parents home, 8 Pinware Crescent, Mount Pearl on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 2 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 2 pm from Mary Queen of the World Parish, Mount Pearl with a reception to follow at the parish hall. The Celebration will continue on Tuesday, August 25 2009 at the home of Paul’s brother-in-law Leo Hayes in Marysvale. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at 2 p.m. from St Patrick’s Parish, Brigus with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brigus, Donations in Paul’s memory may be made to his Daughters Education Trust, c/o Mildred O’Neill, 1600 Bedford Highway, Suite 100-171, Bedford NS, B4A 1E8
