It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Harry King announce his sudden passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s, NL on May 11, 2011. He was 82 years old. Harry retired from Abitibi in Grand Falls-Windsor in December, 1987. He was predecea-sed by his father, Samuel; Mother, Dora; and sister Daisy. Left with fond and loving memories is his loving wife, Margaret; sons Gary(Barbara) of Corner Brook, Terry (Mary) of Portugal Cove-St. Philips; and daughter, Joanne of Grand Falls-Windsor; grandchildren, Terri-Lynn (Trent), Jason, Penny (Marc), Mark and Krista (Ian); great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Sara, Tyler, Travis, Gavin and Mackenzie. Also leaving to mourn are his sisters, Francis and Marguerite; special friends, Barry Saunders and Tom Young; Sisters-in-law Shirley, Phyllis (Dennis), and Josephine (Bob); Brother-in-law Dick, and a large circle of family and friends. Pastor Geoff-rey Slade conducted the funeral service at Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle on May 16, 2011. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery in Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers were Terry King, Gary King, Jason King, Barry Saunders, Terri-Lynn King, and Jerry Kohut. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
