LeBLANC, GILBERTE - 1938 - 2011 - Gilberte LeBlanc of Dieppe passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Center on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the age of 72. Born in Boudreau Office, she was the daughter of the late Didace and Helene (Doiron) LeBlanc. Gilberte retired as a professor of biochemistry at l’Université de Moncton. Gilberte is survived by a sister; Marie-Ange Doiron, brother; Louis Joseph (Andréa), Antonin (Beverly), Jean (Caroline), 13 nieces and nephews, 24 great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Gilberte was predeceased by her brother-in-law; Henri Doiron.
As per Gilberte’s wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at Saint-Joseph RC Church, Shédiac on Saturday, May 21st, 2011 at 9:00 am.
