HERRINGTON, KEVIN - The death of Kevin Adrian Herrington, of Halifax, NS occurred unexpectedly as a result of a coronary arrest on Friday, May 13, 2011. Born 1948 he was the son of Sylvia Herrington and the late Leslie Herrington. In addition to his father he was predeceased by his brothers Robert Herrington and Jerry Herrington. Kevin owned and operated Fairview Hills Golf Center in Halifax. His passion and dynamic personality was evident in his work and everyday life. He impacted all who knew him and will be sadly missed. Besides his mother, he is survived by his son Kirk Connolly (Nikki) of Norton and daughter Kari O’Neill (Troy) of Rothesay; cherished grandchildren Ronnie, Kirk Jr., Jessie, Taylor and Landen; great grandson Bear; brothers Donald Herrington (Barb) of Brampton, ON and Ian Herrington (Nancy) of Clarence, NS; sisters Carol Gammer (Vic) of Kamloops, BC, Vera Raeburn of Hampton, NB, Marilyn Ketchum (Paul) of Quispamsis and Sharon Nichols of Fredericton; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Saint John First Wesleyan Church, 399 Boars Head Road, Saint John on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
