WATSON, Carrie Beatrice - 99, of East Halls Harbour, Kings County, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011 at home. Born in Halls Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Blanche (Boylan) Millett. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She is survived by a daughter, Blanche Borden, Canning; a son, Colin (Patricia), East Halls Harbour; four grandchildren, Pamela, Douglas, Kevin and Kara; six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, James; five sisters, Winnifred, Ruth, Nettie, Frances and Alicia; eight brothers, William, Harry, Lee, Murray, Christopher, Downey, Barry and Ivan; a great grandson, Noah and a son-in-law, Arthur Borden. There was no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Tim Bigelow officiating. Burial took place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
