DILL, Dwayne Arnold - 45, of Calgary, Alberta, formerly of Kentville, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at home. Born in Toronto, Ontario, he was a son of Nancy Haggerty (Terry Clarke), White Rock and Arnold Dill (Leah Hiscock), Canning. Dwayne worked most of his life as a drywaller and taper in both Nova Scotia and Ontario and for the past 20 years worked in and around the Calgary area. In addition to his parents, Dwayne is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne (D.J) and Tapisa, Edmonton, Alberta; his daughter, Samantha Dill, Halifax; sister and brother-in-law, Pam Woodman and Kevin Pudsey, Calgary; two brothers, Brian Dill (Sherrie-Lee Balcom) and Trevor Dill (Lori Dobbs), both of Edmonton; a step-brother, Michael (Beth) Clarke, Coutts, Alberta; step-sister, Michelle (Jeff) Dempsey, Port Williams; granddaughter, Hannah O’Hara and grandson, Lucas O’Hara, both of Edmonton. Dwayne was predeceased by his son, Lucas O’Hara; a brother, Herbert Lloyd, in infancy; his maternal step-father, Rae Haggerty. Visitation was held from 7-9p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011, Reverend Tim Bigelow and Pastor Christine Bigelow officiating. Burial took place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Cancer Society.
