McKAY, CARRIE - With heavy hearts the family of Carrie Anne McKay of Quispamsis, NB, cherished wife of Gerry McKay, announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born May 29, 1971 in Saint John, NB a daughter of Betty Ann (Armstrong) and the late Hartley Jones. Besides her husband Gerry, and mother Betty Ann, Carrie is survived by her precious daughters Sydney Paige and Charlie Grace both at home, sister Laura Morris (Reilly) of Quispamsis, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Carrie was a devoted, loving and caring person to everyone who knew her. She was very active and outgoing, athletic, had a zest for life and loved to travel with her family.
Resting at the Kings Valley Wesleyan Church, 332 Hampton Road, Quispamsis, NB, from where the service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jim Agrell officating. Visiting hours from the church on Wednesday May 18, 2011 from 7 to 9 P.M. and Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation or your charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
