Williams, Joan Kathleen – 79, Valley, passed away on May 16, 2011 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Martin) Spears. She is survived by her husband, Vincent; son, Bob (Thelma Cowan), Kemptville, Ont.; daughter, Jean (Brian) Martin, Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jason (Billie), Roseanne (Jason), Bryan, Vanessa; great-grandchildren, Ryland and Memphis, Alexis and Tiffany; many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. No visitation by request. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, May 19th at 11 am in Immaculate Conception Church, 669 Prince Street, Truro. Interment in the Robie Street Cemetery.
