We, the family of the late Cecilia (MacDonald) Moore, would like to express our gratitude to each and everyone for your support during our loss of a wonderful Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and special friend. A sincere thank you to all our relatives, friends, neighbours and co-workers who visited, telephoned, sent flowers, mass & sympathy cards, food and heartfelt donations that were made in honour of our mother. We have been blessed by the support of so many kind and caring people. To all those who attended her wake and funeral mass, we were reminded that we are not alone in our grief and you gave us the strength at such a sad time. Thank you to all the home care workers who provided quality care to Mom at home. Thanks to Dr. Carol Critchley for all your care, professionalism and being a friend to our mother. To Dr D’Intino, staff and nurses of the Palliative Care Unit, your compassion and respect will always be remembered. Thanks to Fr. Errol MacDonald for the beautiful heartfelt mass and the choir of Holy Redeemer Parish for the lovely music and hymns. Special thanks to Mom’s family for participating in the mass. Readers were daughters Clara, Patricia and son Terry. Eucharistic ministers were daughter Carol and son Brian, while gifts were carried to the altar by daughter Colleen and son Kenny. Pallbearers were 22 of her adored grandchildren while 41 great-grandchildren paid tribute by adorning the altar with roses. May every mark of affection and every gesture of friendship you have shown us be a sign of God’s peace and love for you!
