ANDREWS, Arthur– Passed peacefully away following a brave battle with cancer, Arthur Andrews of St. John’s, formerly of Trinity East. Former host of the Art Andrews’ Dance Party and Reach for the Top. Art worked for thirty-three years in radio and television. In recent years, Art has been heavily involved with the tourism industry in Trinity. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Louise (Colbourne); daughter Amy, son-in-law Stephen Perchard; sister: Joan Moyse (Bob) St. John’s; brothers-in-law: Lloyd Colbourne (Joan), St. John’s and Bill Colbourne (Thelma), Lewisporte and sister-in-law Elizabeth Ranson (Jim), Florida; special cousin Gwen Watts, Trinity East, and Aunt Annie Collett, Baine Harbour, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, sailing buddies and friends all over Newfoundland and Florida. Family will receiving friends at St. Andrew’s Church, Trinity East on Monday, August 24th, from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Art’s life will be held at St. Andrew’s Church, Trinity East on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009 at 3 p.m. Donations in Art’s memory may be made to the Dr. H.
