Peacefully surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, April 15th, 2018 of Judith “Irene” (nee Thorne) Rush of Sydney, N.S., age 74 years. Wife of Brian Rush and beloved mother of Jennifer Rush (Luan) and Michael Rush (Susan). Fondly remembered by Mark Slater and Patti Hooley. Loving grandmother of Taylor, Rileigh, Morgan (Nate), Julie, Jordan and Jelisa. Survived by her two brothers Buddy Thorne (Ann), Rob Thorne, and many nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law of Noreen Rush, Joan Deagle (Wendell), Mary Rush (Richard, deceased) and Louise Rush (Merrill, deceased). Predeceased by her infant sons Keith and John. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Thursday at 9:45 a.m. then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
