The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, Charlottetown, on Saturday, August 22, 2009, of Hazel Simpson of Charlottetown, age 81.
Hazel was the mother of Susan Wedlock and Kandy Simpson Ziedenberg (Michael); grandmother of Jonathan and Anna Wedlock and Laura and Jeremy Vessey; and great-grandmother of Rachel and Reilly. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Borden Simpson.
Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 2 p.m. Interment in the Cavendish Cemetery.
