Bridges
At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, May 19, 2011, with her family by her side, of Lois Etta Bridges of 16 St. Stephen Street, Summerside, and formerly of Elmsdale, aged 75 years. Born at Elmsdale on Sept. 1, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Etta (nee Shaw) Adams of Elmsdale. Lovingly remembered by her children: Nancy Fraser of Ottawa, Ont.; Danny (Judy) of Alberta; Norma (Ben) Yeo of Guelph, Ont.; Charles (Julia) of Guelph, Ont, Sherry (Reg) Bielak of Alberta; Bonnie (Bruce) Fraser of Bay St. Lawrence, Cape Breton; Tammy Bridges of Alberton; Leah Ramsay of Summerside; Shelly Bridges of Ottawa. Dear sister to Everett (Dolly) Adams of Elmsdale; Dorothy (Harvey) Butler of Miminegash; Gerald (Sandra) Adams of Elmsdale; Eleanor (late George) Yeo of Elmsdale; Wilma (Rick) Payne of Alberton; Thelma (Willard) Blanchard of Summerside; and Earl (Pauline) Adams of Elmsdale. She is also survived by her 35 grandchildren as well as her 26 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Michelle Bridges, brother, Junior and by a brother-in-law, George Yeo. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Sunday, May 22 from the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene, for funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Sheila McCrea MacCallum officiating.
