Passed peacefully away at Admiral’s Coast Retirement Centre on August 23rd at age 79 formerly of Dunville. Predeceased by parents – Tom and Ellen Doody, brothers – Jim, Leo, Daniel, Joe and Thomas, and granddaughter Candice. Left to mourn – his loving wife of 54 years — Hilda (nee Patterson), children; Dolores (Rick), Beverley (Larry), Elaine (James), David (Lisa), Rose (Chris), Sharon (Mike). Grandchildren — Danielle, Kerry, Neil, Chantelle, Crystal, Bradley, Devin, Cortney, Matthew. Also leaving to mourn brothers – Lester, Leonard (Elizabeth); sisters — Clarice (Mike), and Rita; sisters-in-law — Elizabeth, Annie, and Agnes, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, August 26th from 2 to 9 p.m. A private family service to follow at a later date.
