Louise Kruger, better known as Fanner to anyone who was fortunate enough to say they knew her was born August 31, 1942 and died peacefully at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital surrounded by her family on Monday February 7, 2011 at the age of 68. Fanner will be lovingly remembered by her son, Shayne, (Shawnda), Jordan, Tyler; son Darren, (Beverly), Emily; son Trevor, (Kristie), Aidan, Payton and many sisters, brothers and all of their families. Fanner was
pre-deceased by her husband Scoof of 38 years and her son Scott. Fanner lived most of her life in Swift Current, Saskatchewan where she raised four very active boys who loved to play hockey, baseball and golf which she supported throughout their lives. She was their #1 fan. Fanner was a cook before retiring in 2002 and was always very involved in the community. In the summer of 2006 Fanner moved to Lethbridge , Alberta where she became a full time Grandma. She loved watching and showing her support in all the activities they did and became their #1 fan. Fanner loved to watch old movies, listen to Elvis, try her luck at the casino slot machines, tend to her flowers in the summer sun and look after her dog Tia. Fanner was a generous, loving person who accepted everybody for who they were with her whole heart. She was a special lady who will be greatly missed. In her memory, donations can be made to the Swift Current Bronco Hockey Association, Box 2345, Swift Current, Sk. S9H 4X6. The Celebration of Life service was held, Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Royal Canadian Legion, Swift Current, Sk with speaker Larry Marshall leading service. Usher were Adian Kruger and Richard Bisonette. The interment service will take place at a later date at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current. Warren's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
