Johnathan Vanning Maxwell, age 17, of Sydney Mines, passed away suddenly on May 19, 2011.
Born in North Sydney, he was the son of Rusty Jones Maxwell, Halifax and the late Lori Lee Maxwell of North Sydney. He was a grade 10 student at Memorial High School
Surviving are his grandparents, Sheila and Lloyd Palmer, Sydney Mines; sisters, April Chestnut, Halifax, Charlotte Jones, Halifax, Grace Jones, Halifax; stepbrother, Dillon Chestnut; grandmothers, Noreen Jones, Halifax, Florence Collins, North Sydney; Uncle Cory, Halifax; Aunt Lisa LeBlanc, California.
Predeceased by mother Lori Maxwell; grandfather; John Vanning Maxwell; great-grandfather, Archie Collins
Visitation for the late Johnathan Vanning Maxwell will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011, at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 10 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev Nick Phillips officiating. Burial in Lakeside Cemetery at later date
