It is with much sadness we announce the death of Roxanne Francis, Newton Street, Glace Bay, which occurred Monday, May 16, 2011 at the QEII in Halifax.
She is survived by her spouse, Herman Acker; sons, Michael Francis and Matthew Francis, both of Glace Bay; her mother, Rita (Malcolm) Osmond, Port aux Basques, Nfld.; sisters, Coleen (Carl) McIsaac, Ont., Tracey (Rick) Ward, Port aux Basques, Nfld.; brothers, Wayne, Alberta, Paul (Jackie), Mount Uniake, N.S. and a number of nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Curry’s Funeral Home, Glace Bay. Interment at a later date in Newfoundland.
