Mrs. Lena Joyce Unrau, beloved wife of Mr. Barney Unrau of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, May 18th, 2011 at the age of 72 years. Lena also leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Wendy Unrau and Shannon (John) Bruno; three grandchildren, Jesalyn, Joshua, and Joel; one brother, Isaac Klassen; two sisters, Olga (Rodney) Sommerfeld and Elizabeth (Cornelius) Unger; one sister-in-law, Judy Klassen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lena was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Isaac Klassen; two brothers, Bernard and John (Gladys); one sister, Mary (Lawson) Barbour; and two sisters-in-law, Ruth and Mary Klassen. Lena will be deeply missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known and loved her. The Funeral Service was held in Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, on Wednesday, May 25th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Loren Hosfield officiating.
