SCHRECK, DR. FRED M. - It is with profound sadness that the family of Dr. Fred M. Schreck announce his passing on May 7, 2011, in Sun City Arizona. Born to Albert and Eva (Sternin) Schreck, in Seal Beach, California, on December 21,1942, Dr. Schreck practiced family medicine for 30 years before ill health forced his retirement, at that time he donated his entire medical practice to the Sunbury Community Hospital. A long time member of the American Medical Association, The Rotary Club. The Pennsylvania SPCA and other charitable organizations, he touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. He leaves behind his adoring wife of 42 years, Karralynn (Mollins), two much loved sons, Joseph and Jerald (Sheri), grandchildren Joshua, Jillian and Jordanna, who were the loves of his life and his special cousin Ronald Sternin (Jerri) who was like a brother to him. He also leaves behind greatly loved brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews and cousins.
In keeping with his wishes cremation and a private memorial service for the immediate family have already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local SPCA would be greatly appreciated.
