Ruth M. Berry

Ruth M. Berry, 88, of Moncton, left this life for a new one in glory, Friday, August 21, 2009. Born in Hillsborough, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Viola (Steeves) Taylor. She was formerly employed at the T. Eaton Co. Ltd., but was happiest looking after family and home. She was a member of Moncton Faith Victory Church.
Ruth will be sadly missed by her husband of 62 years, Karl Berry; daughters, Sharon Brace, Burlington, Mass., U.S., Sheila Walker (Rev. Gordon), Amherst, NS; son, Rev. Wayne Berry (Jeannine), Amherst, NS; nine grandchildren and a growing number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy Estabrooks (Fred), Evelyn Taylor and brother, Lloyd Taylor (Mabel).
Visitation was held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A celebration of Ruth’s life and faith will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, August 24, 2009, 3:30 pm, Rev. Steve McLean officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment, Grey’s Island Cemetery.
The family would especially like to thank the staff of Kenneth E. Spencer Nursing Home, whose love and care for their mother have made this past year so pleasant.
