It is with great sadness that we the family of Richard ‘Dick’ F. Somers announce his passing on May 19, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Montreal after a courgeous battle with cancer.
Born in Sydney, Richard ‘Dick’ was the son of the late Winnifred and Richard Somers.
He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Somers, Montreal; and sister, Carmel (Sonny) Tubrett, Sydney; neices and nephews; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
