It is with much sadness that we announce that Mary Josephine Turner, of 91 Park St., passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2009 at the Glace Bay Healthcare Complex.
Born in Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (MacLean) Southwell.
Dolly is survived by her children, Mary Thiel, Dominion, Vincent (Dorothy) Turner, Tower Road, Kathleen (Tim) Donovan, Glace Bay and Stephen, with whom she resided; her grandchildren; her great grandchildren including special grandson, Ryan, at home; brother, Michael (Theresa) Southwell, Tower Road; many other relatives and close friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred; son, Alfie; many sisters and brothers.
A funeral liturgy of the Word, will be celebrated by Rev. Conrad Edwards; tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11:30 a.m. in Curry Funeral Home Chapel, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
