It is with broken hearts that we, the family of Nadine Darlene Hillier, announce her passing on July 20, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Sydney she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Sullivan) Hillier.
Nadine was a great mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and true friend. Although she was a florist, Nadine worked in many areas during her life.
She is survived by the love of her life, Allan Hickey; daughter, Tana Murphy (Shane); grandchildren, Brandon (Samantha), Tristan, and great grandson, Damon; brothers, Bill (Kelly) and Allan (Raylene); sister, Tracey, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 12-2 Wednesday in the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home. A Celebration of her life will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev Sheldon Chant officiating.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Palliative Care Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
