Wow - you blew us away! We, the family of Ruth Dearing, want to thank you for every act of kindness that came our way on the recent loss of our mother, grandmother, great-grand, and double-great. Every gesture means something to us including online condolences, cards, phone calls, donations, flowers, food, gift cards, presence at the visitation, attendance at the funeral, traded shifts, cancelled golf games, travelling to be with us, and the do drop in on the night of the funeral (remember the rule - what happens in that kitchen, stays in that kitchen). Our deep appreciation goes fondly to the caring staff of Mira Bay, Harbourstone, who were Mom's second family as her earthly life was ending. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of WJ Dooley for providing a gift that brought us peace at this time. As for the final celebration of Mom's life, Rev. Mills, St Matthew Wesley organist and choir, UCW women, North Sydney Pensioners, and our own family members who sang, read, served as pallbearers, and eulogized this special woman, you did our Mom proud. Mom lived a long life, facing many hardships along the way but always enjoying the riches that matter - laughing easily and often, loving deeply and unconditionally. May she rest in the peace she's earned. So thanks to all - you came through in spades - and you do know how Mom loved cards. Your support at this time will not be forgotten.
