It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Christopher Tucker. Richard passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on July 26, 2018 at the age of 95. Predeceased by his loving wife Annie Tucker; parents Richard and Sara Tucker; brother Hughie (Marion) Tucker and sisters: Elizabeth (Clearance) Sparkes, Pearl (Jack) Evans, and Clara (Steven) Squires. Leaving to mourn are his sons Gary Tucker and partner Kathleen Deegan, Don (Sandy) Tucker; grandchildren: Nancy (Kevin) Kroeker, Rodger, Amber, and Ryan Tucker; great-grandchildren: Noah, Cody, and Jackson Kroeker; step-sisters: Phebee Harding and Sadie Rose; niece Faye (Jeff) Williams; nephews: Carl (Sandra) Squires, Howard (Lydia) Tucker, Raymond and Jean Sparkes, Alex Harding, as well as his Seventh-Day Adventist Church Family and many other friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 2 pm from Barrett’s Chapel with interment to follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
