Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on August 24, 2009, Rick Stanley, aged 52 years. Predeceased by parents William and Carrie May, brothers: Jim, Charlie, Hubert and sister Evelyn. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Beverly; daughter Courtney (Kent Nash); son Ryan (Sara Gould); siblings: Gerald (Gloria), Wins (Kay), Albert, Doug (Gladys), Jessie (Leo Williams), Eric, Gord (Wynanne), Eugene (Vicki), Carolyn (Arch Manning); sisters-in-law: Wesley and Gert; brother-in-law Hubert Horton; sisters-in-law: Rosalind Ford, Elizabeth (Roger) Benson; brother-in-law Gerald Ford; mother and father-in-law Elias and Eleanor Ford; as well as a large number of family and friends and co-workers at BDI. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, August 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, August 27 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the Church of the Good Shepherd, Richard Nolan Dr., Mount Pearl. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Rick’s memory can be made to the Dr. H.
